Women's Conference
This is your personal invitation to the Multi-Stake Relief Society Women's Conference with Sister Allred (1st counselor in the General Relief Society). Kindly wear your Sunday dress and be looking out for the flyer this Sunday. Please be sure to take a few more flyers to the sisters you visit teach to remind them as well.

Carpooling: We are meeting at the chapel starting at 5:30pm and leaving at 6:00pm to provide ample time for traffic. Parking is very limited and the Stake is urging every ward to please, please carpool.

I would very much like to know
of your current status, and whether I may be of some assistance to you. In
the past I may have referred you to the ERS office in Concord - and it's
generally a very good place to go for help - but the Church has recently
developed a new website that is much more advanced in it's capability to
help than anything we've seen before: http://LDSjobs.org
I encourage all to go to the site and have a look around. You will be
prompted to register so that you may fully access the information and links
available. I'm still investigating the site myself, and you may have
questions come up that I'm not yet able to answer - BUT - I probably know of
someone who can, so don't hesitate to ask.
Please get back to me with an update on your status - I know that we have
been going through one of the worst periods of unemployment since the Great
Depression - but there are jobs out there, and the Church is working hard to
help our members find them.

Victorian Luncheon
You are invited to a Victorian Luncheon!!
This is another class in the cooking class series!
We will be sampling food that is easy to serve at any type of get together! You will also receive decorating tips for a fancier type of gathering! Be prepared to socialize with friends in a more formal manner!
