Friendly reminder that this coming Sunday, Jan. 1st, Walnut Creek 2nd Ward meeting times will change to 1:00pm to 4:00pm; with Sacrament Meeting 1st hour.
Also, Fast & Testimony Meeting will not be this Sunday. It will take place for our ward on Jan. 8th.

3rd week Announceme
1. Thanks to all those who helped with a very wonderful Christmas party. All your service with bringing and serving food, decorating and cleaning up is so appreciated.
2. We have made cards for you to deliver to your visiting teachees. Please take enough to deliver to all your sisters before Christmas.
3. We have more copies of Daughters of My Kingdom with names on them – so please check if yours is here, or if you can take one to who it belongs.
4. Ward Temple night is Thursday 15th, 7pm session
5. Please plan on coming to 4 upcoming baptisms,:
This coming Saturday, Dec 17 @ 10am – John Holland
Sunday 18th @ 6:30pm – Corrina & Colby O’Neill
December 27th at 7pm – Alma Garcia (Young Womens)
If you can, please bring snacks to share at the baptisms!
6. January 25th will be our First Enrichment Activity of 2012 – “Bond with the Book of Mormon”
7. Remember that our schedule changes on Jan 1st, 2012. We will begin our meetings at 1pm – 4pm.
Christmas day there is only Sacrament, joint with Lafayette at 10am

2st week announcement
Aubrey Greenan had her baby boy! Theodore Maxwell was born November 27 .
The Relief Society is doing table decorations for the Christmas Party this Saturday at 9:30am. If you are able, please come and help decorate the tables, you don’t need to bring anything, just come and help.
If you would enjoy singing some beautiful Christmas songs at church on Christmas Day, join the women's ensemble. Call Susan Comber for details.
The ward Christmas party will be on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 5-7pm. Bring a friend! Remember to bring the food you signed up for!
We have two gift giving projects going on:
1) If you took an ornament tag off the tree to buy a gift for a Pittsburg Shelter resident, all those gifts should be returned UNWRAPPED with the tag at our ward Christmas party.
2) If you signed up on Sunday to buy gifts for the Berkeley ward exchange, please remember to bring that gift WRAPPED and tagged this coming Sunday, and place it under the stairs by the Bishop's office.
If you have a vacuum cleaner you no longer need and would be able to donate, please call Linda Carlson. We have a sister who needs one.
