Questions from the Family History

Questions from the Family History

1. Question: I entered all the information I obtained from a family member into New Family Search. What do I do next?

Answer: Determine if you can do the temple work for the ancestor’s you entered by checking the icons as we discussed in the demonstration. If more information is needed to qualify for temple work, start by searching an ancestor’s name on the following two websites: www.beta.familysearch.org; and www.pilot.familysearch.org. After checking these two websites without success, contact a family history consultant.

2. Question: If I have not registered on New.FamilySearch.org yet, how do I register?

Answer: Obtain your membership number and confirmation date from the Ward Clerk, Jim Suva. Click on “Register for the New Family Search” and follow the prompts.
