3. Since we didn't have Relief Society on Sunday, we did not have an opportunity to thank all those who worked so hard to make our activity last Wednesday so spectacular. Thanks especially to Diana McClun and Vicki Jones for all their hard work, and also many thanks to all the talented sisters who shared their creations with us. What great women we get to befriend!

4. This Friday, June 3 is ward temple night. We are all encouraged to go since the temple will be closed from July 12 to August 2!

5. Our annual "Pancakes in the Park" will be held in Larkey Park on this Saturday, June 4 following a free Zumba class at 8am. It is a great opportunity to invite friends.

There are five different ways to make this event a big success:

1) Bring a fruit salad or cook Jon Jones' homemade sausage to bring
2) Help keep the tables stocked (the RS assignment for this event)
3) Pass out 10 cards to your neighbors on your street. (There are sign up sheets for these first three things in the RS binders)
4) You can forward the electronic flyer you received by email to your friends,
5) Bring supplies for hygiene kits.

6. In June, we have a great opportunity to be taught by one of our stake RS Presidency, Mary Eggertson. She is coming to help us be more prepared to serve our sisters and families by assembling "meals-in-a-bag" ahead of time. We'll be learning other ways to be more self-reliant with meals as well. Put Thursday evening, June 16th, on your calendar.

7. If any of you have need of childcare, Lynn Gold has a friend who does daycare and has openings for new families. Call Lynn for information.

8. To save time during our Relief Society meetings on Sundays please let one of the Presidency know ahead of time if you need to make an announcement,
and the person conducting will make all the announcements.

We hope you find the week a good one.
