2nd week Announcement

1. The new lesson manuals we are studying in RS – The teachings of George Albert Smith – are available. Please, if you take one for someone else, give it to them ASAP so they don't come looking for it and it is not there....

2. Barbara Johnson is looking for rides to and from Church and to Dr. appointments. Let Heather Russell know if you can help.

3. The upcoming RS Activity “Bond with the Book of Mormon” is on January 25th at 7pm. There will be several classes to chose from on ways to approach your reading. The ward auxiliaries have created a ward mission plan for 2012. The goal we chose for the Relief Society sisters was to write our testimonies in a Book of Mormon and follow the Spirit regarding who to give it to. At our "Bond with the Book of Mormon" activity, we will have books, paper, and glue available so you can prepare a book to give.

4. The Stake RS activity is February 11th from 10-1:30 at the Moraga Chapel. A light luncheon will be served. All women are encouraged to attend and bring your friends. There will be wonderful, inspirational speakers and workshops

5.Please contact your VT supervisor with your December report ASAP

6.Ward Temple night is January 11th from 6-8:30pm. We will be doing initatories, and would be grateful if you could plan to spend a full hour during those times performing this inspiring ordinance .

7. The 5th Sunday of January, the 29th, we will be having a Linger Longer to help us get to know the new members of our Ward, and to celebrate milestones in the lives of Ward Members. We'd like to request that everyone bring a generous plate of appetizers to share.

8. Our Ward has an assignment to provide volunteers to help in the Bishop's storehouse on Monday January 16th (Which is Martin Luther King's birthday holiday - for those of you who have the day off) We are needed from 8:15 - 11:30am. Please sign the binders if you can help.

9. A part-time bookkeeping job is available. If interested contact Sue Bowen
